Thrown together by chance...or perhaps fate.
From humble beginnings we grow together.
Time passes with its bitter inevitability.
Over forty fleeting years many things change.
The best do not.
I'm continuing a weekly challenge from Treasures Found blog: check it out Here for more details and to check out the blog. The man to my right in this picture is Bryan Keehl, my oldest friend. We met in Kindergarten. Both of us recently celebrated our 40th birthdays. The sentiments of this week's 30 word quasi-haiku were written with him in mind, but count for all my friendships.

A great photo and I like how you made it look like a painting. Your words are very fitting for this huge icon.
We enjoyed our trip to Chicago a couple years ago and would love to go back one day.
Love the men looking back at the boys!!! Great photo and Wonderful words!
What a dynamic and painterly photo you have created! I marvel at those who know their way around Photoshop! I love the depth of feeling in these words. I feel them for my best friend of 36 years, met in 5th grade when I moved here. Friends of all sorts are so important, but the oldest who know all about us and love us anyway are very special indeed! Thank you for joining in the 30 Words Challenge! Enjoy the day. Erin
